DesignDataManager - User


Objectives: This course covers the major features of DesignDataManager (DDM) from the Pro/ENGINEER® users perspective.

This course will introduce Pro/ENGINEER® users into the fundamentals of DesignDataManager (DDM). It will detail how DDM integrates into the day to day activities of Pro/ENGINEER®. The user will learn how to use DDM tools such as reporting, `where used` reports, single/multi level BOM`s, creation of non-drawn parts and up issuing of parts and assemblies etc.

The course also covers the use of family table generics/instances, drawings and details working practices for handling Pro/ENGINEER® legacy data.

Upon completion of this course, students should understand the capabilities of DesignDataManager. This course will provide them with the knowledge of how to optimise full functionality of the product and leave the designer more time for designing, and less time spent finding of their Pro/ENGINEER® & documentation data. .


Audience: People who will be using DesignDataManager to Manage their Engineering Data.

Prerequisites: A minimum of 40 hours of Pro/ENGINEER® experience.
