DesignDataManager - Administration


Objectives: This course covers the major aspects of DesignDataManager (DDM) from the Administrator's perspective.

DesignDataManager for Administrators one day course will introduce the system administrator to the concepts of DDM. The course will cover a server/client installation of DDM and configuration of the database for user functionality.

Additional topics covered include DDM file system maintenance,automatic backup utility and general system house keeping. At least one individual at each customer site should complete this course.

Upon completion of this course, students should understand the capabilities of DesignDataManager, have a more in depth understanding of how DDM handles Pro/ENGINEER® data, and be comfortable in performing installations and future upgrades of DDM.
