To further improve productivity, Norden introduced CSI PDM Anydocs enabling them to store and manage all of their data, including CAD and non-CAD documentation using one solution. PDM Anydocs extends the base functionality of Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager (Formerly CoCreate Model Manager) to allow users to manage product and project documentation, whilst working effectively in a team environment.
Why did you choose PDM Anydocs to manage your data?
Previously, all of our machine documentation was spread out in different folders in different departments
causing productivity delays. Although Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager was working well for us, we
still had a need to gather all information in a single place. When we heard about CSI PDM Anydocs we understood that our existing PDM-system Model Manager was able to do the job.
What you have achieved and how has Anydocs helped you?
With so much machinery data, (CAD data orders, planning layouts, pneumatic schemas, format change tables, machine specifications, function descriptions, meeting notes correspondence, customer/ vendor manuals) it is impossible to manage it outside of the engineering department without a strong
document management system.
CSI PDM Anydocs enabled us to store and manage all of our documents in one place and so continue to use
Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager.
